About Us
MISTY AND TIMOTHY SCOTT, JR.
GREAT SCOTT SOUND
Timothy, Jr and Misty Scott have been worship leaders for more than 15 years. They have collaborated with a number of worship teams, musical projects and artists.
Tim has a desire to see nations break out in the Psalm 150 directive. He teaches various instruments and cultivates the ability to discern the sound for the season.
Misty has a passion to see people approach God through worship in awe and wonder in cadence with heartbeat of God, inviting every nation and tongue.
Together, they've accepted a God-given mandate to teach others to see worship beyond the production. They encourage people to approach the throne with a transformational mindset to influence atmospheres and hearts through anointed worship and servant-leadership.

FAQ
What's in a calling?
We are commanded to "love". We are commissioned to "go" We are either crazy for enduring all the uncertainty, or we are certain of what we are called. How can you tell? What makes your heart swell and your eyes leak? Start there and it will help uncover your calling.
Why now?
At the end of 2018, the Lord very firmly spoke that "this is My time - and worship is imperative to what I am going to do there." He has a plan, a season and a purpose; and we must operate on His time, not our own (since He sees the end from the beginning). We believe Thailand is one of many places we will go; but the timing for this specific country is now.
Why Thailand?
We have been researching and have not been able to find an affordable school for worship leaders beyond what is offered short-term through conferences or workshops; or long term through two year Bible schools (many smaller churches cannot afford to lose their only worship leader for two years at a time). Very little training in this area is available in SE Asia; so there is a vacancy that must be filled! Thailand is a good centralized hub for potential students in SE Asia, and much easier (and cheaper) to visit than sending students to Australia or the USA.
We plan to host a 110 day intensive school/program that incorporates discipleship, open discussion, Biblical teaching, musicianship, and servant-leadership as a way of training. Situated in the 10/40 window, the town of Mae Chan is home to Thai and many other indigenous ethnic tribes and is within a 30 minute drive to many other communities, including the Golden Triangle. Our hope is to be able to accept students from the surrounding SE Asian countries to provide training in the areas of servant leadership, worship and musicianship.
I do not live in SE Asia. Can I still attend or volunteer?
Class time is limited to mornings, lessons in the early afternoon and volunteer / ministry time reserved for evenings and weekends.
Contact us to find out how you could schedule a short-term missions trip to Thailand, and also attend Asaph's Journal School of Worship!
